Jesus Says Come Unto Me and I will Give you Rest!
Do you know where you will spend Eternity?

This question probably presents more uncertainty than any other question. Most of us know definitely whether or not we have kids or whether or not we own a dog...yet we do not know whether or not we have eternal life!

What is involved in attaining eternal life and going to Heaven? If you ask most people what is involved in going to Heaven, it would probably include one or more of the following: Live a good life, join a church, love your fellow man and follow the teachings of Christ.

Getting into Heaven isn't a reward to be earned...it's a FREE GIFT!

Romans 6:23 "The free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord"

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by Grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

You see, we deserved death and judgment but instead God accepted Jesus' death and resurrection as paying the price for our (your) sin. Jesus was nailed to the cross for YOU!

1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

2 Corinthians 5:21 "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

Jesus is the ONLY WAY to God

John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father but through Me."

God is waiting for you to let him in.....

You have heard it before, now you have just read it, but it is not enough just to know it.....You must receive Jesus Christ into your heart if you want to know God. Don't turn away, don't think that this doesn't apply to you....the time is now...Jesus loves you and is waiting to show you!

What Now?

First... acknowledge your need -- admit your sin to God and your desire to turn away from it.

1 John 1:8-9 "If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Second... believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again -- providing forgiveness for your sins.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "....that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."

Third... choose Christ to direct your life and live as a new creation in faithful and loving obedience to God's word, the Bible.

1 John 2:5 "...but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him."

Are you ready?....

Invite Jesus Christ into your life and begin your new relationship with God right now! Simply pray the following prayer:

Dear Lord,

I know that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. Lord, I know that only Jesus Christ can save me because he alone died on the cross for me as penalty for my sin and rose again to be my savior. Come into my life Lord and lead me. Amen.

God promises when you accept Christ:

You become a child of God!
John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."

Your sins are forgiven!
Colossians 1:13-14 "For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

You have eternal life!
1 John 5:11-13 "And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life."

You will know God personally!
Philippians 3:8 "More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ."

You will be empowered to change and mature in Christ!
Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to HIS purpose."
